Councillor Alexis McEvoy has been involved in local politics for many years and is particularly concerned to ensure local democratic accountability. Speaking up for those less able to speak for themselves, trying to hold local government to account and giving support to local groups and organisations are the issues that are of paramount importance to Councillor McEvoy. During her year as Chairman of New Forest District Council, Alexis raised £10,000 for charity which benefitted Help for Heroes and Honeypot Children’s Charity.

My experience includes working and interacting at all levels in Politics, local government and the private sector while still running my own small business in Langley with my husband.
